Rally Dept. Wins Two San Antonio ADDY Awards
FORT WORTH, TEXAS — Rally Department, a Fort Worth based sports focused creative agency, was awarded two ADDY’s at the San Antonio American Advertising Federation ceremony Friday night for activation builds in the ‘Out-of-Home Installation’ category on behalf of their client H-E-B.
“Pushing the boundaries of creativity has always been what sets us apart, and these awards further validate the strength of our ideas and the incredible effort our team puts into bringing them to life,” Rally Department President/CEO Bryan Delgado said. “Our clients put a lot of trust in us, and we are ecstatic to see that our partnerships are continuing to make a real impact in the experiential marketing space.”
Taking Gold in the Out-of-Home Installation category was the H-E-B Rodeo experience. Guests had the opportunity to take a photo on a H-E-B bucking cart, rope steer baskets, receive premiums and sample products, and more. The activation was live for 54 days, making appearances at rodeos throughout Texas, including stops in Austin, Corpus Christi, Fort Worth, Houston, Laredo, and Rio Grande Valley.
The H-E-B Combine, which was awarded Silver, traveled to the top college football games across Texas throughout the fall of 2025. Fans were able to test their grocery store themed football combine skills, showcasing their vertical leap at the “Shelf Reach” jump, aim in the “Cart Toss” challenge, and strength at the incline bench “Bag Press” station. Guests capped off their experience with a custom "Draft Day" photo that was immediately printed on-site into a polaroid keepsake.
Rally Dept. has partnered with H-E-B on sports experiential campaigns across Texas since the fall of 2023.
Since its inception in 2022, Rally Department has been awarded other recognitions including a 2023 San Antonio ADDY Award for its H-E-B traveling brand activation entitled “The Porch”, and a 2024 Lone Star Sports Emmy Award for “Trail To Fort Worth” on behalf of the American Conference.
The agency was founded by former sports executives with the sole purpose of working with universities, teams and brands using sports as a marketing platform. Other high-profile clients that Rally Department has worked with since its founding include the Davey O’Brien Foundation, NCAA, Arlington Sports Commission, University of Oklahoma, San Antonio Spurs, and Vail Resorts.
